What a brawler.

I’ve never been much of a gamer… after finding frustration with numerous video games, I fall under the category of “casual” where I enjoy RockBand and the LEGO video games. Every once in a while, I’ll get into a game like GTA III or Fall Out 3 and I suppose it’s because of the “sandbox” element of the game where you can go anywhere and do anything. I like that.

When Batman: Arkham Asylum came out, I took a risk and bought it. Certain aspects of the story mode are frustrating: You have to earn your armour and abilities… shouldn’t the Batman have all that stuff taken care of? But once you’ve completed the game, you can do “challenges” and I love the “predator” challenges. This is where you, as Batman, take out the henchmen any which way you please. Hang them upside down from gargoyles, jump out of ventilation shafts, blow up walls, use Batarangs, etc..

The game’s been collecting dust ever since I started playing the series of LEGO games. But with the new Arkham City previews coming out, I’ve been warming up ol’ Bruce Wayne and tackling those Black Gate prisoners in Arkham. My moves are a little rusty and for a while I forgot how to be Batman. Hopefully, it’s like riding a bike. A crime-fighting bike.

Batman belongs to DC comics.

I love getting fan art. It’s wonderful to see that someone has dedicated their time and effort out of their busy schedule and made something special. If you’d like to submit some Legendary Woodsman art, please contact me.
